Sweetest escape at the Number Sixteen I London

During my last trip to London, I wanted something different. This is why I chose another part of London, the cutest and french part of  the city : South Kensington.
And in the heart of South Ken’ is a little hidden paradise called The Number Sixteen Hotel.
The Mid-Victorian Hotel has 41 bedrooms, all unique with its own deco and charm. The bathroom is lovely, full of Firmdale products that you can find here
I loved the RikRak beauty products and the adorable pencils and note book.
The most charming detail about the Number Sixteen is, definitely, the hidden and so dreamy garden that you face, while having your breakfast in the morning… As it was a few days before Halloween, the Hotel team was redecorating the garden with pumpkins which was perfect for the photos 🙂 Couldn’t sop myself to ask the concierge to take a picture of me !
It was truly, a delicate, charming and kind of vintage stay in London this time and I loved it. I’ll be back at the 16 Sumner Place.

24h in London just because you love Jo malone

24h in London just because you love Jo maloneBeauty London Travel

What a short but unforgettable trip I made last week with Jo Malone.
Just because they wanted to celebrate the launch of their new offer – Just Because.
A few of us were invited for dinner at the Jo Malone TownHouse in London to meet the headquarters of the brand and love it even more.

Sofitel London Rituals.

Why London is a good idea.

Why London is a good idea.London My style Travel

London for the week end is always a good idea, especially when :

– you stay at your favorite hotel, the Sofitel London St James. I’ll make sure to tell you more about it on my next post!
– you spend the week end with your girlfriend Alix.
– you get to see all your london friends and you have the feeling you never left them.
– you get the wear actual summer clothes, which is almost a first in the UK for me!
– you get to try a very cool new spot, which is Cocotte Rotisserie, a healthy and delicious restaurant in Notting Hill.
– you spend some time with your daddy at the European championships of swimming…

That’s what I call a great weekend

What’s best than 3 days in London? On my To-do list, an exciting meeting with Net-a-Porter for the blog, artistic meetings, cycling class at Psycle London, great restaurants (thanks for the tips Capu) and an afternoon on Oxford Street. I even found some time to be a touristic guide for babe and took him to Covent Garden. While walking, we found this cool spot for the photos.

The World’s First Fabulous Fund Fair

The World’s First Fabulous Fund FairLondon

My inner child is still jumping around from all the excitement. Natalia Vodianova and Karlie Kloss put together one of the most exciting evening in the attempt of raising fund for the Naked Heart Foundation, involving brands and celebrities in creating exciting booth for the amusement of all.
We started our night with a kiss on the cheek from Natalia in the Guerlain Booth, followed by the Louboutin High Heel Olympics, then played hook-a-duck with Mariacarla Boscono in the attempt of winning a Louis Vuitton bag.Followed by an exquisite Stella McCartney veggie Hot Dog.
And after too many glass of champagne we discovered Jax Coco, the most fabulous coconut water, who counts Stella McCartney, Sienna Miller and Elton John in their fan club. On the sweet side Dior provided delicious ice cream, Moda Operandi Candy Floss, and Kloss herself was handing out Karlie’s Kookies that are to die for.Over all, a big success with €450 000 raised for The Naked Heart Foundation

Van Cleef & Arpels jewels for the night. Shooting in the suite of the London Pullman for a few hours. Yes, it was a unique and magical week end. On monday morning I was back in the Paris subway. 🙂

Love Actually in London.

Love Actually in London.London My style Travel

***

It’s always nice to spend a Love Actually week end in London before Christmas. And that’s what I did last week when I spent 3 days at the Sofitel St James, by Picadilly Circus. I just love the atmosphere of the hotel which is more or less like home when in London. And if, in addition, there’s the biggest red christmas tree in the hall then I’m REALLY in Love Actually.
