As many know, NYC is always a good idea. Even for a few days between 2 shows in Paris. This is why I decided to fly to the big Apple on the 1st day of Christmas. It was my first time in NY at this time and it felt like a dream with the christmas lights, decorations and spirit.
It was also a first choosing a Hotel downtown and Hotel Hugo was such a joy that I extended my stay.
I knew this place only for its fabulous rooftop facing the statue of Liberty. So, OBVIOUSLY, when I met a NYC based photographer Oren Michael, I suggested she should climb up! And I’m so thrilled about the result!
The Azul rooftop is closed in the winter because of the temperatures so we had it for ourselves ! But the Hotel as a great bar with a 360 view on NY so it’s definitely a winter place also.
Just a few blocks from Soho, Broadway, the best shops and cutest restaurants. You can go anywhere by foot when staying downtown so it was a great idea.
I also loved the Café Hugo where you can grab a coffee before heading to soul cycle or enjoy a healthy I or US lunch with friends. We chose the second option 😉 I really suggest you should pass by next time you’re in the city that never sleeps.
